ok I'm not on my PC right now to take and upload a pic of a game to challenge you pro's..so I'm just gonna give you an easyish one (I'd imagine) of another game.

I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream
(because Curu Kurufinwe posted a DS game)
After we had Spanish, German and Hungarian games, too.

How is that a bad thing? I think it's much more fair to use a game that lots of people have played, possibly on a non-PC platform, than some obscure PC game that must have sold fewer than 1000 copies (as has been done time and again in this thread). If you don't own a DS, well that's your choice --- and your loss.

I said it once, and i'll say it again - i have nothing against posting ANY game, as long as it is an adventure game or at least an adventure game hybrid.

And with obscure games there's only something to be gained - it wouldn't be very funny only to guess Monkey Islands and The Longest Journeys.

Hey, you are the one who started the whole "post only obscure adventure games" So stop complaining.

I wonder if you'll stick to that point of view after my next choice (coming soon, codename: worse than Petko ).

Er... I don't think so.
I posted pictures from some obscure games, yes, but I wasn't the first to do that (I started playing here at the very end of 2009 - four years after the thread had been opened) and I also posted screenshots from Discworld, The Black Mirror, Runaway 2: The Dream of the Turtle, Gray Matter, Runaway: A Twist of Fate, Sam & Max Hit the Road, Starship Titanic, Grim Fandango (twice), Gabriel Knight 3. Besides, one (wo)man's obscure game is another (wo)man's well known game. It all depends on how much you know about the adventure games, I reckon.

True, you were certainly not the first to do that.

That makes your complaint about the DS pic even more ironic. This thread is sometimes a contest between two or three posters who are having great fun both posting and google-guessing pics from obscure games which they haven't played and usually don't know all that much about. Other people (including me) have more fun actually recognizing pics. That's the main reason I started the quizzes.

What I actually wanted to say was that you shouldn't complain about how difficult is some screenshot (or if it is from a spanish, DS game or any other kind of adv. game) if you from time to time posted screens that are quite hard to guess yourself. It's a bit ironic don't you think? I for one have no problems with whichever screen someone posts, if I don't know it I won't try to guess it, but I won't complain about it either.

Yes Fien I completely agree with you, I like to try to recognise photos myself rather than wasting my precious time searching for them. It sometimes seems like this thread is only about who will post the hardest possible screen and who will guess that same hardest screen.

On the other hand you spend quite a lot of your 'precious time' frequenting this thread (without guessing much Name: kreza.gif

Hey Zobraks, don't be offended. Nobody's saying you shouldn't post obscure pics anymore. I like them too, just not all the time. And there's nothing wrong with the Nintendo DS games, as long as they're adventures. IMO.
