It is polite to wait for the person who posted the screen to confirm a guess and it is polite not to post a new picture instead of the person who guessed the previous one and wait for one's turn.

What would this thread look like if anyone can post a picture whenever they feel like it (without guessing something before)?

actually it wasn't your turn to post a picture so he isn't. as Zobraks mentioned, without rules the thread would be a rather chaotic mess
1. picture is posted
2. people make guesses
3. original poster confirms if a correct guess was made
4. person who guessed correctly posts a new pic
sometimes they will instead chose to leave the door open for anyone to post, in which case it's a first come basis
either way, the cycle continues

It seems zobracks was quite confident in his answer of BS2, which might be why Hoipolloi posted his picture. I didn't see the gap in confirming the previous one, but everyone just settle down.
