Your BIGGEST adventure sins!
Ok guys - i've never finished Grim Fandango and i've never played Gabriel Knight 3.
There you go, i had to tell it to someone. I feel so much better now, thank you. I may be a sinner, but on the other hand - such classics await me to play 'em for the first time! Your turn! |

Say three Our Fathers and ten Hail Marys. Your sins of omission are absolved. Go in peace.
I quit Dreamfall after ten minutes and never returned. I am soooo ashamed.

Broken Sword 1 really bores me. But I loved Broken Sword 3!

Mine are legion:
- Never played a Gabriel Knight game - Never played a Tex Murphy game - Quit Syberia after two hours, never played Syberia 2 - Until last month I had never even heard of The Last Express - I seldomly resist the call of the walkthrough when stuck for five minutes - I don't think liking Escape from Monkey Island is a sin I'm going straight to adventure game hell...

You got off VERY lightly there TimovieMan!
This is Fien's usual punishment for those of us who sin against The Last Express: Last edited by Oscar; 11-24-2011 at 11:55 PM. |

Thanks, Oscar. That's me to a T. An outstanding example of your subtle and mature humor.
PS: A pity you never joined the GAG playthrough, you would have loved the humor. |

You may be right about that, and it would definitely have been better to have had you there to explain to me all the dirty jokes I didn't understand!

I'm building the wall in front of the audience? Whoa, thanks for comparing my talent with Pink Floyd I'm still waiting for Fien's confession. And i want to hear something more than: "Haven't played TLE this year" Last edited by diego; 11-25-2011 at 04:26 AM. |

I often play adventure games while reading along with the walkthrough opened up next to me on my Kindle. I played through The Last Express like that.

Now, on topic: I'm not sure if those are sins, but I didn't finish GK 1 (stupid bug! ), never started a Tex Murphy game ever and I've played Sam & Max Hit the Road only seven times (in 2011 ). There are plenty other adventures I never got to play (and I plan to) but it would be too long a list to bring it here. My friend So There would probably pour a couple of buckets of pig sh*t on me to hear I often use UHS Reader hints and MaGtRo's walkthroughs when I'm stuck in an adventure game (specially those I didn't like ). That's it from me in a confession booth . For the time being.

I apologize for what I am about to say. I know how hard the truth must be for a blackhearted sinner who hasn't even finished one little Tex Murphy game. My dear friend... I have no adventure sins. None. My soul is as pure and white as snow. Your devoted friend, Fien |

I have never played any game with the word 'Quest' in the title...
Have not played Last Express... Hated Dreamfall... Haven't played any Tex Murphy, Indiana Jones or Kyrandia... Only played the first Myst and used a walkthrough... Liked GK 3 better than the first two... And maybe worst of all... I enjoy HOG's... Last edited by Majsan; 11-25-2011 at 08:30 AM. |
