I'm in london at the moment so I can't really help, but I guess emailing GMX would be a step in the right direction, especially since there's now 5 people having the same problems (fortunately not all GMX copies are affected!). They should consider either replacing the cds or putting up the file somewhere.

Well, about the file, I'm pretty sure it's on this directory:

\media\scene\ambient\porto\

I know this because Porto02.cmo and Porto03.cmo are there. And looking by the path.. it's a scene ( ), so your version will probably fit mine.

Well, at least we could try. How are you thinking of passing the file to me?

I can't send you the file (lack of time), but I personally think the game could be better. Not only for the bugs, but something could not get me into it. And I played it to the end. (yes, my friend lent me it...)

Well, pointing at a painting on the floor and reading telephone on the label is quite strange...

I had to remake some parts because some animation would not trigger too.

The game is finally released in France (since yesterday). The first players seem enough disappointed. The first reason is that the game is in English with French subtitles! Moreover, it's full with faults of syntax (like my english ) Hum the play cost nevertheless 45 €...

i noticed the errors in the english grammar, a shame really

You can check my review (in the review section of the forum) to see what I think of it, but of course, MM is not perfect and actually far from it. But still it's a more mature attempt at adventure gaming than Druuna Morbus Gravis (made by Artematica too), but anyway more unpolished than Tony Tough.

I have been lurking around these forums for years now and haven't been around recently as there haven't been any good adventure games out really... but i had to re-register to thank you guys, specifically docca and the guy that originally supplied him with the file.

I haven't played MM since aug-sep 2005 i think, and I just recently got sam&max ep1-3 (the original was my gateway adventure game / favorite along with other lucasarts games) as well as dreamfall 2, and started wondering if anyone else encountered the same problem as me over 1 year later and sure enough i got one hit on google here.

I had gotten to the part where he is just leaving after freeing himself and then the screen turned black, just like someone else here mentioned.

THAAAAANKS!!!!
