Anacapri: The Dream website launched
Follow-up to A Quiet Weekend in Capri on target for spring release

Silvio and Gey Savarese, the authors of A Quiet Weekend in Capri, today launched the official website for the follow-up to their indie adventure from 2004.

Anacapri: the Dream is currently in beta-testing, and is on schedule for a Q2 release, with publisher negotiations ongoing for the US and Europe. Like its predecessor, the setting is the island of Capri, this time in the upper regions called Anacapri. The plot evolves around a mythical, powerful object called the Obsidian Disk, and it will probably not come as a big surprise that it's up to you to discover it before it's too late.

The new game will once again use a node-based, Myst-type of gameplay, and will feature over 8000 images with 180-degrees panoramic views. According to the authors, the total time of game-play will tick in at over 50 hours.
