Hans Christian Andersen ships to stores
The Ugly Prince Duckling hits North America

The Adventure Company announced today the shipping of the Danish adventure game Hans Christian Andersen: The Ugly Prince Duckling, which will be available at the suggested retail price of $19.99. The Danish adventure, released in Europe last year, puts players in the role of the 14-year old Hans Christian Andersen, the author known for classic fairytales such as The Little Mermaid, The Emperor’s New Clothes, Thumbelina, The Snow Queen, and The Princess and the Pea. An aspiring artist in search of success, Andersen soon finds himself on a quest to rescue the Princess and save the kingdom from the evil Master of Darkness and his army of Trolls.

The game features over 60 character from Andersen's tales, and lets players explore the vibrant and elaborate shops, secret tunnels, and windmill in the enchanting village of Copenhagen.
