A new trailer for the Machinarium, the first full-scale adventure from the makers of Samorost, has been released.

Czech developer Amanita Design once again bring their quirky charm to the game, whose main character is a robot. Cast out of the city by the “Black Hat” brotherhood, the hero must make his way through the junk-filled outer wastelands and back to the city before the brotherhood can cause serious harm.



As seen in the trailer, the most immediately striking thing about Machinarium is the artwork, which looks like a sketchbook brought to life. The trailer also shows examples of the gameplay, which will feature environment-based problems, escape-the-room challenges and some complex logic puzzles.
