GameSpot has bestowed upon Tim Schafer and Dave Grossman's hallowed Day of the Tentacle a well-deserved spot in its ongoing Greatest Games of All Time feature. The article is slightly spotty (for examples, it neglects to mention co-designer Grossman), but has nothing but praise and fond memories for the classic game.

GameSpot has been known to have a soft spot for graphic adventures from time to time, as evidenced most notoriously in 1998 when they awarded Schafer's Grim Fandango their Game of the Year award over heavyweights such as StarCraft and Final Fantasy VII.
