Frogwares' new upcoming release, Around The World In 80 Days will be published in France by Focus Home Interactive, and the first views of the game are here. A departure from Frogwares' usual 2D point-&-click style, 80 Days will be told in real time 3D with visual details like particle effects and graphics shaders.

Based on the classic Jules Verne novel, 80 Days is a story about Oliver, an adventurous young man who sets out to travel the globe in an air contraption on behalf of his scientist uncle to validate a theory and wager to a London science organization. You as the player must help Oliver to prove his uncle's theory to the organization by collecting various evidence from your travels. Easy, huh? Nope, because you must manage your resources while racing against time and overcoming obstacles. Along the way you'll get to drive vehicles (including bicyles, motorbikes and a mono-wheel) and ride various animals.
