Editor-in-Chief

I can't stand talking about myself. I gotta LIVE me, so the last thing I want to do is talk about me, too. Trying to summarize 40-ish (40??!! How'd that happen?) chaotic years into a bio blurb feels too much like work, and what's that expression? All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.

So let's talk games! There's so much more to life than games, but I do admit to having a passion for them. I play nearly all genres, but I'll always have a special affection for adventures, since I started with the Infocom text games on a borrowed computer in high school (which was a pretty big deal in those days). Without a computer of my own, I thoroughly enjoyed many years of console goodness before finally returning to the PC and lots of classic games that I still haven't finished working through. Maybe it's got something to do with all those new games coming out?

Our little niche may not thrive like it once did, but I'm all about hope for the future, and since joining Adventure Gamers I've seen the genre take promising steps forward... Well, except for the three Christmas Quest games that I designed (with plenty of help from my friends here on staff). Those are more like leaps towards dementia. Festive dementia, though! And hopefully a little bit of fun.
