Ankh finds life in North America
Viva Media signs popular comic adventure

A good week for comic adventures just got a little better, as Viva Media has revealed that they have signed the comic adventure Ankh for North American distribution. No specific details have been confirmed yet, but Viva is currently targeting a July release date.

Ankh, released earlier this year in the UK, is a third-person, 3D point & click game set in ancient Egypt, though a much different Egypt than we've seen in previous adventures. With its vivid, cartoony graphics, quirky characters, and tongue-in-cheek humour, Ankh is a lighthearded adventure that casts the player in the role of a young man named Assil. Players must help Assil reverse a death curse by seeking an audience with the Pharoah, and then Osiris himself, which of course requires a good many shenanigans along the way.

With a standalone expansion already planned, Viva's revelation will come as welcome news to North Americans wondering what all the European fuss is about.
