With a Nancy Drew movie due out this summer, the teen sleuth is set to become more popular than ever. That increased attention could be good news for Her Interactive, who just revealed the first details of its new Nancy Drew mysteries scheduled for release later this year.

Following its familiar pattern over the last few years, the Washington-based developer will be releasing two PC titles, with one this summer and a second in the fall. First up in June is The White Wolf of Icicle Creek, which takes Nancy to the Canadian Rockies. Going undercover at the Icicle Creek Lodge, Nancy "is there to investigate strange accidents and a mysterious wolf which appears before each incident. When Nancy arrives, there is an explosion and a bunkhouse is destroyed. She will soon discover a dangerous plot afoot that could have international repercussions." For additional information, the game's official website has recently been launched.

In October, the plucky girl detective will be joined by her good friend Bess on a trip to New Orleans for spring break in Legend of the Crystal Skull. But no Nancy Drew "vacation" is complete without a mystery, and adventure soon presents itself when Nancy visits Henry Bolet, a friend of Ned Nickerson. With Henry in town to attend to details following his grandfather's death, "family secrets are revealed and questions abound," and of course it's up to Nancy to investigate.

Beyond the PC, there's even more Nancy Drew in store, as Her Interactive has plans to release another title this year. The new game will be available for DVD drives and played using the remote control, but no specific details have been revealed so far.
