Strong Bad coolly kicks off with debut episode
Homestar Ruiner now available for download on PC and WiiWare

The faces may be different, but the format will look familiar, as episodic adventuring returns today with the release of Homestar Ruiner, the debut episode of Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People.

The PC version of Homestar Ruiner is available now for worldwide download directly from Telltale Games, while the Nintendo Wii version becomes the first ever adventure released through WiiWare in North and South America. Wii owners in Europe, Australia, and New Zealand still have to wait a while longer, as the game is scheduled for release on August 15th.

Based on the popular Internet cartoons at Homestarrunner.com, the new five-part episodic series kicks off with the diminutive, cantankerous Strong Bad scheming to beat the snot out of the dopey but lovable Homestar Runner — figuratively speaking, though you never know with Strong Bad. Unfortunately for everyone, his plans go horribly wrong, resulting in a most-unwanted house guest that Strong Bad will (and must) go to great lengths to be rid of.

For full ordering details and WiiWare download instructions, along with a free playable PC demo, head on over to the game's official website. For additional information about Homestar Ruiner, be sure to check out our newly-posted review of the game.
