Blue Toad Murder Files set to leap onto PlayStation 3 in December
Six-episode cooperative whodunit series unveiled exclusively for Sony's console

Who says Sony and adventure games don't mix? Certainly not Relentless Software, who recently unveiled a six-episode cooperative adventure series called Blue Toad Murder Files: The Mysteries of Little Riddle, to be released for download exclusively for the PlayStation 3.

The new series casts players in the role of one of four Blue Toad detectives, playing either alone or with up to three friends controlling the others directly. In the first episode, a murder has occurred in the quaint English village of Little Riddle, so players must explore the town for clues to the killer's identity. At each location chosen from a map, you can question a different villager and solve a puzzle that either helps them out or provides you with needed information. Players much pay careful attention along the way, as "you will also be questioned by the Chief Inspector about events that take place after each chilling incident."

There are six episodes of Blue Toad Murder Files planned in total, which promise to include "over 90 puzzles, Whodunnits and cross-examinations" all told. You'll be asked to pinpoint a suspect at the end of each game, though a cliffhanger finale will tease of the next adventure still to come.

The debut of Blue Toad Murder Files: The Mysteries of Little Riddle is currently scheduled for release in December. For additonal information in the meantime, be sure to visit the official website.
