Blue Toad Murder Files leap onto PC next month
Bundled six-episode whodunit series available for download on November 24th

PC gamers could only look on in envy this time last year as the six-episode Blue Toad Murder Files: The Mysteries of Little Riddle launched exclusively on the PlayStation Network. What a difference a year makes, however, as Relentless Software has just announced its plans to release the bundled series for PC download next month.

All seems peaceful in the "quintessentially English" town of Little Riddle, until you and your fellow Blue Toad Detective Agency colleagues witness a murder right in front of your eyes. Now it's up to you to "solve puzzles, interrogate suspects, use your powers of observation and investigate clues to uncover the strange goings on in this quaint and sleepy village." It doesn't end there, either, because more mysteries await as the episodes continue, from burglary to arson to a shocking case of carpet muddying, and determining the identity of the mastermind behind the scenes will be the greatest challenge of all.

This whodunit series is more of a light puzzler than a full-blown adventure, with much of the action taking place in cinematic cutscenes while you solve puzzles in between. As an added twist, the game can be played cooperatively with up to three others, as you each control one of the four available detectives. Each episode offers its own standalone mystery, but ends in a cliffhanger and contributes to a larger story arc that isn't resolved until the final episode.

The bundled Blue Toad Murder Files: The Mysteries of Little Riddle will be available to download from major portals beginning November 24th, or from the official website. For more details in the meantime, be sure to read through our reviews of Episodes 1-3 and Episodes 4-6.
