Stacking gets bigger with first downloadable expansion
The Lost Hobo King now available on Xbox LIVE Arcade and PlayStation Network

Double Fine's Stacking is a little adventure that just keeps getting bigger, in more ways than one. Building on the original foundation of this unique stacking doll puzzler, The Lost Hobo King has just been released as the first downloadable expansion on Xbox LIVE Arcade and the PlayStation Network.

In Stacking, little matryoshka Charlie Blackmore set out to rescue his family from a life of slave labour under the tyrannical rule of the local Baron. In The Lost Hobo King, Charlie "travels to the kingdom of Camelfoot to help his hobo friend Levi with an important family matter. Levi’s uncle Rufus, heir to the throne, may only take his rightful place if the lost crown can be found. To recover the fragmented crown, Charlie must use his unique talents to overcome several tests of valor left by the ancient hobo mystics. It is only then that the ancient crown can be re-forged, Rufus crowned, and the fractured hobo people united under one sardine can."

As with the first game, each doll has its own talent, and Charlie must "stack" into larger dolls in order to utilize their specific abilities to overcome obstacles. The expansion includes an original storyline in a brand new environment and more than 15 additional unique dolls, plus new challenges with multiple solutions and even more hi-jinks than before.

The Lost Hobo King is now available for 400 Microsoft Points on Xbox LIVE Arcade and $4.99 on the PlayStation Network. For more information about the series, be sure to check out our review of the original Stacking.
