If you listen closely, people aren’t actually whispering about Daedalic’s The Whispered World… it’s just hard to speak clearly when your mouth is stuck gaping open. And a lot of jaws dropped when the first screens were unveiled, leaving us gasping and wanting more ever since. Now, with its long-awaited release finally around the corner, the rumbling anticipation for the entirely-2D-and-darn-proud-of-it fantasy adventure has grown to a dull roar, as players are dying to blurt out the one thing on everyone’s mind:

Just give us the game already!!

You know what? That’s not a bad idea, so we’ve decided to do exactly that. Courtesy of the game’s North American publisher, Viva Media, we are pleased to offer free copies of The Whispered World to five lucky winners. Not just any five, though. This is Adventure Gamers, after all, and any genre fan knows that getting what you want is never that easy. To be eligible, first you’ll need to correctly answer the three quiz questions below. But in the modern spirit of hint systems and greater accessibility, we’ll do our part in directing you to the game’s official website and our latest preview, which contain all the answers you need.



If you’ve had your hype-attuned hearing aid turned down and somehow missed all the hushed excitement about this game so far, The Whispered World tells the story of a young man’s quest to save the world – a world that he himself is doomed to help destroy if he cannot reverse the current course of events. (So no pressure or anything.) Little Sadwick is not your usual protagonist, and his pet Spot is far from your traditional sidekick, but it’s up to the two of them to set out into the Autumn Forest and beyond to confront the many dangers, obstacles, and puzzle-solving challenges that await them.
